Visitors from most countries can get a 30 day tourist visa on arrival for 25 US$. Other options are to apply to the Indonesian embassy in your country for a 60 day tourist visa. A 60 day visa is applicable if your nationality does not allow you to get a visa on arrival, or you want to stay more than 30 days.
MalariaBali is considered safe for malaria. All other Indonesian islands have higher risk of malaria and precautions are very necessary on dry land although boats offshore are considered safe. If you leave Bali for other Indonesian islands - be prepared, be safe.
InsuranceAppropriate travel insurance is an absolute necessity for traveling in Bali and to other Indonesian islands. To stay at the Camp you are required to have valid travel insurance.
SurfboardsYou are allowed to bring 3 surfboards into Bali for personal use. Additional boards will be considered as imports and customs will charge a fee usually its 100 US per Board , but this is negioable.
In Bali no wetsuit is required as the water temperature is warm all year round. You can bring your own surfboard or we can provide an appropriate sized board from the surf camp. We cater for all standards of surfer from beginner to advanced.
Rupiah, foreign Currencies and Credit CardThe local currency is the Rupiah. The exchange rate varies from day to day - 1 Euro is about 14.000 Rupiah. You should bring with cash in Euro or other major currencies, a Maestro-(EC-) or credit card. You can change cash at exchange offices at the airport and banks. The airport, most banks and big hotels provide ATM“s. Cash change machines are widely spread. The cheapest way is to change cash.
