17th july Bali's daily surf Camp surf report & surf accommodation in bali & Padang Padang ship wreck update

17.07.08 01:00 Alter: 127 days

Well swell still small but at least the wind has eased off , the swell is on the rise for the next week hopefully going to see some swell here soon , and its way overdue. A solid swell should be here tommorrow around 2.6mtres with 13 knot winds.   Today we surfed Canggu and it was terrible small crowded and really high tides as the full moon is tonight.   The boat is still there , 5 boats attempted to remove it from the reef today and failed. They couldnt even move it. The petrol and oil thats leaking from the boat is polluting the ocean in Padang Padang and theres a strong smell of fish in the air aswell. We are all hoping for the best that the reef is ok and the wave stays the same if not better. I hope that the pollution doesnt ruin this lovely spot.   Well till tomorrow , off to shoot pics with our 2 young pro's who are here in bali for the month , Nicolau Von Rupp and Caleb Reid who just came second in the last World Pro Junior comp here in Bali. So if your interested in surfing with some little groms who rip then book your trip before they leave on the 10th of August.   Keep surfing and join us here in Bali some time in the future.   Your Balinese Rapture Camps Surfaholics.
