Favorite country: To live it would be south-west of France. To travel and surf, for now that would be around asia or south america.

Surfing
Surfing wasn?t really a commun sport in Holland. Most people don?t even know that Holland has a sea, so you can imagine the quality of the waves. In winter it?s freezing cold and waves are mainly created by windswells. So when I started surfing at the age of 13, there weren?t manny people to surf with. When I first started travelling and surfing real waves I was around 15. Then I discovered real surfing and got fully addicted to it. I started doing competitions when I was 16. Back then competitions were  held in the benelux. I was dutch champion in shortboarding and also won a couple of longboard competitions. Today I would rather refer to myself as a free surfer. I do competitions only for fun, but am more interested in just surfing and exploring the art of it. Also because I  love music and wouldn?t want to give up one passion for the other. Music
I?ve been playing in bands eversince I was 14 years old. First bands were kind of rock orientated. Now I?m playing more and more semi acoustic rock. My aim is to play alone as song and songwriter and travel the world doing that. Not only as musician, but also in organising aid projects through music and sports.
I?ve launched a cd in Holland and have played a lot of gigs in and outside of Holland. With my current band called ?stoked? we?ve made a couple of tracks for surffilms and play a lot at surf events around europe. After I graduate from the conservatory I will proceed as solo artist and sing and songwriter.
