Small but Fun at Foz do Lizandro - Daily Surf Blog Portugal

created by chris.sorrell, updated at 2009-06-29 19:25:57

Today the SW swell that we had yesterday is still hanging around. It looks set to even pick up a little bit tomorrow.
This morning the conditions looked good, but the tide was too high for Foz do Lizandro. Pedra Branca had some great rides though, before and after the high tide at 9 with the southerly direction of the waves hitting the reef there were some great little walls coming in. Brendan`s birthday today and he scored a great morning session.
As the tide dropped, the banks at Foz do Lizandro started to get better and better. Perfect for learning and also some great rights and lefts for the more experienced. The rights were wedging and the lefts were pushing down the beach, it was only shoulder high but still really fun.
Tomorrow looks even better.
