The last few days the massive swells we had were dying off and we having perfect conditions for beginners now as the waves are more gentle and forgiving.
We went out to Ribeira d'Ilhas real early this morning at first light trying to avoid the crowds and it totally paid off. Even our friend and local ripper José Gregorio was there to catch some waves before office time. So you can be sure that it was the best spot to be. After that we came back to catch some breakfast and to go out at Foz do Lizandro with our newly arrived Beginner crew. Everyone was stoked and pretty much all of them did stand up and caught their first waves surfing. I reckon a few got infected by the surf virus. Planning to go out for a third session this late afternoon. It's going to be our camp beachie again as it's just the best.
