Yesterday was a "Super-Sunday" in the Surfcamp. In the morning we went down with the beginners and fun little white-wash waves made it easy to try take-offs. Everyone stood up and got the feeling what makes surfing so special: the push and accelaration and then the gliding. It was a bit messy for those who already paddle out in the line-up and it was not too easy to catch a wave to surf as peaks were shifting around a lot, but everyone caught some and was happy. After lunch the swell and the sky suddenly cleared up, which was not forecast, and with the tide moving out nice 2 - 3 ft sets rolled in and the sun was shining with almost no winds. The more experienced ones went out again and got to surf some sick lefts and rights. Some of the beginners paddled out in the line-up for the first time and were really stoked while some girls had drinks down in the bars at the beach.
After that afternoon session we went to town for dinner as we don't do dinners in the camp on Sundays. Being the day of the soccer worldcup final we had reserved some tables with view onto a TV so we could watch the game. After that we headed home and it ended up to be a little rapture-party in the camp as everyone was stoked by the surfing and the whole day in general
