The Swell is back! Instead of dying as we thought yesterday it picked up again. We went and checked Backdoor and Riberia in the afternoon today and maybe they could be on the cards for tomorrow, the banks at Foz de lizandro are looking like it they are going to be good tomorrow, so an early session there could be planned aswell.....

This is the new double room in the camp where couple and otherwise inseperable people can enjoy some privacy. Nothing better than to sleep in a big bed and a balcony facing our chill-area. From the window you can check the surf at Foz do Lizandro and can decide without leaving the bed if you want to go for a surfing session or rather sleep in, hehehe

Rapture Surf Camp Portugal was totally disconnected from the outer world for a few days as the internet connection broke down and due to being weekend we could not get it fixed. That's also why we could not post any surf reports. But we are back in the realms of the internet ... So here it comes: Surf was pretty good the last days. The messy conditions cleared up, we got better weather with loads of sun and the swell stayed around. So we had fun 3 - 4 ft waves here in Foz do Lizandro.

Sorry for the two days without surf report but there was not much new to tell ... it was pretty much all the time big and messy ... a full wind swell. Also we had some rain at night and some hours during the day. But it always cleared up and then everyone was eager to go out. Yesterday we walked over to Sao Julio which seems to hold the big swell better. Was a sick little trip along the cliff and we spotted a few places where we could give our camp-rod a try ... we'll see if we catch some.

Today the first forerunners of the next swell hit Ericeira and made it all bigger and messier than the past days. The swell is gonna be 4 - 6 ft and consistent until next Wednesday. Unfortunately it's gonna stay windy ... could be perfect for early surfs but as the wind only comes up during the day and the water is less crowded in the mornings ... fortunately the portuguese love it to sleep in, hehehe
