Today we had pretty messy, wind-blown waves here at Foz do Lizandro and a lot of water was moving around so it was pretty hard for everyone to get out into the line-up. The crew went to Coxos for a session after Lunch but due to being Sunday it was really crowded there. Swell is definitely on the rise and we keep fingers crossed for good conditions at the reefs of Backdoor, Reef and Pedra Branca tomorrow morning.
The whole camp went out to have a sick dinner at Prim's ... everyone was having the steak on the hot stone. Yummy!!! After that a nice caipirinha at la Luna ... what you want more?

Yesterday and today we had gentle 2 ft waves coming from the West so Foz worked best out of all the spots in Ericeira. We checked Backdoor and the other reef-spots Reef and Pedra Branca but they didn't really work. We also checked Ribeira d'Ilhas but it was heaps crowded - as always.

The surf today was nothing special. The swell-direction is NW now and we had bumpy 2 ft waves at Foz do Lizandro. The experienced surfers went to check Coxos and scored a few nice ones. Forecast says that it is going to get bigger on saturday ... but you never know for sure. At least the weather is nice and we have agreeable 25°C during the day and no rain. As we hear that's massive compared to the rest of Europe;)

Pray for waves!

Sorry for that delay but we were heaps busy in the camp;) After a big farewell party for our photographer and entertainer Mr Domi "I got the magic" Lyssek on monday everybody felt a bit hung over on Tuesday. Anyway it was raining before midday and the swell was messy. In the afternoon it cleared up again and we had a sunny afternoon with degrees aroung 25°C. Today the swell cleaned up and we had gentle 2 ft waves at Foz do Lizandro. The banks work really good at the moment, everybody had a fun session this morning.

Another sick day in the surf here in Portugal. After that big night yesterday, with the whole camp partying on the front terrace, everybody was keen to get into the water to get their heads clear again. The strong off-shore eased off and we had glassy conditions all day. The swell is slowly dying off. There is still some size in it but a long wait in between the sets. Together with the cloudless sky and 30° degrees in the shade this was pretty much the perfect summer day here in Foz do Lizandro whereas the rest of Europe is freezing, hehehehe.
