Today we had a perfect day ... when Andi got up at 7.00 the wind was blowing off-shore with around 10 knots and the recent swell was still alive and cleared up even more so our beachbreak Foz do Lizandro was pumping with a pleasant wave rate which made it easy for everyone to get into the line-up. The surf session was super-fun although some of the crew felt a bit surfed out after the massive day yesterday. Finnish charger Markus scored a nice drop-in on a massive wave. Although he wiped-out and got pounded he was so stoked because Domi our photographer got the shot.

Last night we had a really nice night outside in the garden. Everybody was tired and happy because of the good surf they had. Simon, Matt and Pikey checked out Coxos for the late surf but didn't go out because of the crowds instead they surfed a sick session at Foz after the fun little early session at Sao JuliaoAndi and Domi enjoyed the mellow night and slept on the day bed.

Rapture on the Road

As decided yesterday we went to our neighbour beach Sao Juliao with the whole crew. Matt, Pikey, Simon walked over on top of the cliff to check the possibilities for fishing there. It is a pretty long walk but at least they got a good company by the girls Sarah and Carina. The rest of the crew went by car and took the surfboards. We had nice waves and everyone enjoyed this litte surf trip. After the session we decided to head back to the surf camp because it was a bit windy and the girls wanted to back to go for another baking session in our chill-out area.

Warm weather and nice waves that pretty much says it all about today. The swell cleaned up and turned more west so we had better conditions here in Foz do Lizandro. After the morning surf session everyone headed back to the surf camp and spent the rest of the day baking in the sun. Liisa and Jennika captured the new day-beds and would not let go until the afternoon. Markus our Finnish beer crasher also gave it a try and felt like on a BBQ. Simon and the girls went to Lisbon to get some stuff for the camp and only came back late.

Rapture Surf Camps awoke to a solid 3 foot north west swell this morning, and with a slight sideshore wind it made for some nice waves. With 2 campers Lisa and Jennika dropping into Ericeria late last night there was a nice little crew to enjoy it! The Surfcamp was fully busy today preparing for the summer to come, Sarah and Carina were doing a full deco while Andi was concreting a new step after a piece of the back wall was cut out to make path to the new outdoor chilling zone. With plans to use it for the sickest parties that Rapture and Ericeira have seen ...
