My name is Caleb Reid and I love surfing. Ive been in the water since I can remember and surfing has consumed my life. I have surfed all over the east coast of Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand and Brazil and take every opportunity to surf other great spots across Australia and overseas. I love travelling, looking for new waves and meeting new people.I do the full junior series and plan to compete in a couple wqs events in 2007. Im going to Hawaii in january 2007 with Barton Lynch which should be a great opportunity to push my surfing as far as possible. I look up to new innovators in surfing and anyone who brings a new approach to the waves. I like the style and power of Joel Parkinson, Mick Fanning and Bruce Irons.

The Bronte Board Riders have shown me overwhelming support. They held a surf competition to raise funds for me to do the junior series in 2005 and local guys such as Rod Kerr, Azza Graham and Ryan Clarke have been a great help in pushing my surfing

I finished school in 2005 to pursue my surfing career. I work a number of casual jobs to support my surfing.
 
My main goal for 2007 is to finish in the top 10 of the junior series. Other minor goals include competing as much as I can, surfing the heaviest waves I can and trying to push the boundaries of junior surfing as much as possible.
