Road Tripping

A small long range swell, light wind and the spirit of adventure were the three ingredients that sparked the decisioin to head off on a road trip into the unknown. With one surf van fully loaded with people, food, and everything else required to find and surf some uncrowded waves (fingers crossed) we set off south. The furthest any the team had been south was the national park just south of Tifnit. So this trip was an adventure for all of us not just the customers.
After searching and checking every spot headland and sandy cove south of Tiznit, we ended up surfing an amazing left hand beach break just next to a river mouth near Sidi Ifni. The waves were about chest high on the sets and the current in the channel created a fun little bowel than ran for 50m. With only us and a few locals out everyone got plenty of waves and had a ball. The day was topped off by some delicious grilled fish.
