This has been a super week for beginners here in Ericeira for the last couple of days. Since the last surf report the conditions got smaller and less windy which made it so easy for the beginners to catch their first green waves and gain some experience in the line-up. We had almost no wind during all those days and yesterday we even had offshore-winds for the first time in over 2 months. So a lot of surfing was going on ... 2 long surf sessions were standard and on some days even 3. People were hardly to get out of the water as we also had super hot weather well above 30° Celsius. The swell has only been small with fun little 1 - 2 ft waves but the banks on our homebreak Foz do Lizandro work really good at the moment and their were sick little lefts and rights to be had all over the place. Some bigger sets even barrelled and you could get at least a shower. Everyone hopes it is going to stay like this for the next few days as it makes it really easy to progress your surfing and learn some new moves.
