We are a small surf camp situated 2 min walk to our home beach foz do lizandro. Come sit in the sun, catch a few waves whilst you are here in Portugal. Our camp will welcome any style of surfer. If you love surfing and want a holiday in the sun with your wife or girlfriend who does not surf, come to Rapture Camp, watch the sunset, play football or beach volleyball. Or you can do some sightseeing in Mafra.


Portuguese Lifestyle and only a few seconds to the Surf
The Camp is based in a large 2 level Portuguese style house with 4 bedrooms. Watch the surf, TV or surf DVD at the same time from the lounge room. A small garden for afternoon bakes in the sun whilst sinking a few beers or sipping a glass of wine or port from the local vineyards. The house is situated to the right of Lizandro beach, only a minute walk to the beach, 15 minutes walk to the town centre. Out of your bed you can watch the surf, so you do not even have to get out of bed to check the surf. Dorm style rooms with only 4 to 5 people per room. Please do not forget to bring your towel and sun screen.

Only the best Surf Spots
Ericeira is known throughout Europe as being one of the best spots for surfing all year round. Majority of Portuguese professional surfers come from Ericeira. One of the longest breaks here in Ericeira, Ribeira d'llhas host two world surfing competitions yearly. Ericeira has many beaches for beginners to learn on and also offers many perfect left and right hand reef breaks for the more challenged surfers. All of these breaks are within a 20 km radius of the camp .

Surf Guiding and daily Surf Lessons
Rapture will take you surf guiding to all the surf spots of Ericeira ranging from beach breaks to point breaks and reefs lefts and rights daily. Free beginner surfing lessons are every morning for 2 hours and then throughout the day. You can practice what you have learnt that morning with some guidance if required from our guides. Boards and wetsuits are not included but can be hired from the camp.

Euro and Airport Transfer
You do not need to bring all your money in cash. There are a lot of local banks and ATM´s around. We provide transfer from and to Lisbon Airport for 15 Euro per person and direction
