Es war im Sommer 2013 als wir einen Anruf von einer netten Dame namens Brooke bekamen. Sie und ihr Freund John haben uns damals gefragt ob wir etwas Hilfe gebrauchen k\u00f6nnen und wir ihnen im Austausch f\u00fcr Arbeit eine Unterkunft und Verpflegung bieten k\u00f6nnen. Zum Gl\u00fcck kam uns diese Anfrage zu diesem Zeitpunkt sehr gelegen und wir konnten die zwei schon eine Woche sp\u00e4ter bei uns begr\u00fc\u00dfen.<\/p>\n

Brooke ist eine zierliche Junge Frau die, wie jeder best\u00e4tigen wird, eine spezielle und sehr beruhigende Ausstrahlung besitzt. John ein passionierter Surfer der ebenfalls die Ruhe in Person zu sein scheint. Dieses junge Paar ist in Neuseeland aufgewachsen, haben sich dort kennengelernt und haben zusammen angefangen Musik zu machen. John spielt Gitarre als h\u00e4tte er sein Leben lang nichts anderes ge\u00fcbt und zusammen mit der Stimme von Brooke k\u00f6nnen die beiden Herzen zum schmelzen bringen. Damals bildeten nur die beiden zusammen die Band „French for Rabbits<\/a>„, heute spielen sie gemeinsam mit zwei weiteren Bandmitgliedern Ben und Hikurangi Weltweit.<\/p>\n

In der kurzen Zeit in der Brooke und John mit uns zusammen gearbeitet haben spielten sie \u00f6fters spontan ein paar Songs und noch nie hatte ich es erlebt das sich das gesamte Camp so schnell versammelt hatte. Schweigend genoss jeder die beruhigenden Kl\u00e4nge und es war immer schwer f\u00fcr das musikalische P\u00e4rchen die B\u00fchne zu verlassen da immer wieder nach einer Zugabe verlangt wurde. Wer „Dream Volk“ mag und „French for Rabbits“ noch nicht geh\u00f6rt hat wird\u00a0mit Sicherheit diese\u00a0Band seiner Playlist hinzuf\u00fcgen.<\/p>\n

In diesem Sommer halfen wir den beiden bei einem Videodreh f\u00fcr eines ihrer Musikvideos und wer schon einmal bei uns auf besuch war der wird sich sicherlich auch an den alten Joao erinnern der ebenfalls im Video mitgewirkt hat. F\u00fcr uns war es ein Riesen Spass und wir sind Dankbar das diese zwei wirklich wundervollen Menschen diese Zeit im Sommer 2013 mit uns verbracht haben.<\/p>\n
