Indonesia’s currency is called Rupiah. It is used in all over the country. ATMs are easy to find. Most of them accept Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Cirrus, and PLUS cards. Make sure you get in touch with your bank to check how much the withdrawal fee is. Each ATM has minimum withdrawal amount, however most of them only allows maximum 2,5 Mil Rupiahs withdrawal at once.
You can also find safe money changers in Bali. Only go to licensed money changers that have permanent shops to avoid getting scammed. Some of the reliable ones are BMC Maspintjinra or Central Kuta Money Exchange.
