Surf Report Monday August 10th
The battle with the large swell seems to be over. My main man Benedict, Grego’s brother, had a taste of his own medicine when a board hit him in the face, breaking his nose and splitting his cheek in two places. After a visit to Lisbon hospital he came back looking more like frankensteins monster than a real boy. The drama peaked yesterday as the police came down to the beach and ordered everyone out of the water.
Today however was a different story. The waves were smaller and friendlier. After the hangovers were shaken the boys and girls were ripping. A new Austrian crew arrived this morning. Dominic took to surfing like a fish to water. The German boys were getting more waves than girls they kissed the night before. Boris and Anna were out there after the group gladly welcomed them home from their Lisbon adventure. With the swell slowly dropping the conditions should stay fine and friendly for a few days to come.
