Early bird gets the worm!

Today we had the joy of starting our day with our fantastic 5am surf time. Initially the first early morning is a bit of a kick in the teeth but once your down and in the water there is no better way to start the day! We loaded up our car and headed to our home beach Padang Padang. One first checking the waves from the bridge we were a little concerned with the size and the fact waves were barely breaking but we gave it a shot and once we got down to the beach we were greeted with peeling right hander clean 2 foot sets! It was fantastic, exactly what our beginners need. We were the only ones in the water for a good 45 minutes and everybody was catching waves. Our mate Bernado was putting on a clinic for everybody catching consecutive waves on his new board he’s just bought at the camp. We surfed until it was breakfast time then camp back to the camp for a big feed. Afternoon session wasn’t until 2pm so we enjoyed the sunshine and the pool time and even a quick Magini’s Bikini’s photoshoot, Gunung is a part-time model and available for shoots most weekdays (contact Maggie for more info!). The afternoon session was a little crowded but waves were still good and enough to go around. Out for dinner tonight to the Mexican Restaurant. Yuuuuum beef burritooo!
