The beautiful town of Sintra is located just about 30min away from Ericeira. The really colorful Palácio da Pena is always a highlight while visiting Sintra and Quinta da Regaleira is really worth exploring. You can get there either with a rental car or by bus from Ericeira – check Mafrense bus schedule and be aware of changes on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
From July-September there are lifeguards at Foz do Lizandro beach.
The surf school we are working with has certified surf instructors who are also trained in beach/water safety.
