Rapture Eco Surf Camp is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes – Odemira, a small fishing village at the mouth of the River Mira, in the heart of the National Park of Southwest Alentejo and Vicentina Coast.
The Surf camp is on a small farm, on the seaside of the town only minutes away from the fishing port and 15 minutes walking from the city centre. While following the principles of permaculture and an Eco-friendly way of living off the land, we aim to connect people to the land and healthy sports activities. The surf camp is located on the “Rota Vicentina”, a famous walking and cycling program with different trails, perfect for hiking lovers.
During your stay you can learn permaculture practices, sustainable practices, surfing, helping in the organic garden, enjoy local activities (SUP, horse riding, coast walks) or simply enjoy the tranquillity of the Alentejo way of life. We also can offer Portuguese cooking workshops (for a small fee). This camp is being created to invite you to explore another beautiful and more hidden part of Portugal.
Our surf camp offers a perfect balance between a relaxed holiday and a new opportunity for you to learn and work on several sustainability practices. The activities we run on-site are based on environmental concerns, and we aim to pass this type of knowledge to all guests that visit us. The surfcamp location also offers amazing views within a short walking distance, and the natural beauty that surrounds the area will make you feel astonished and wanting to come back every summer!
