Ubud and Uluwatu Day Trip

Bali has a thriving and fascinating island culture for travelers to experience besides surfing and partying.

Ubud is Bali’s cultural capital and only a few miles away from camp. Watch a traditional dance performance, there are about six different offerings each night in Ubud and the surrounding villages.

Uluwatu Temple in Bali is on edged on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean below with more than a thousand-foot drop. The view is amazing and worth the price alone. Entrance costs $2.22 US dollars for foreign visitors. Watch out for the sneaky monkeys eyeing your sun shades, phones, purses, and snacks.

You can get there by renting scooters from camp, jumping in a cab or hiring a local driver if you want to see all the sights in one day
