Within 30 minutes from the camp you have the unique opportunity to watch turtles in their natural habitat arriving at the beach to lay their eggs and then hatching and swimming away in the ocean.
If you are at camp at the right time of the year, we can organize a turtle watching trip for you.
You can also visit by boat Las Baulas National Marine Park right outside Tamarindo and see the jungle and its marine inhabitants from the water. Crocodiles, turtles, lizards, monkeys guaranteed. Tours are twice daily ($25 per person) and we need to call in advance to find out the exact time depending on the tide.
