Visitors from most countries can get a 90-day tourist visa on arrival in Costa Rica. At entry you will be asked to show an onward or return ticket. Check exact requirements for your home country or the passport that you hold before you travel.

Check-outs from the accommodations are at 11h00, but If you leave later in the day we can also store your luggage. Although we are very flexible with arrival and departure times please take into consideration that the border from Costa Rica to Nicaragua closes at 00h00. So for example, if you have a flight that is supposed to arrive at 21h but the flight itself is delayed, and you still have to take some time in customs, it will be risky.

Our surf camp is right across from Cabinas Las Olas and on your left before you reach the right turn to Lola’s. Take the left turn towards Vida Verde, then you’ll see the signs towards Rapture. A 4×4 vehicle is not needed, high clearance is optional, it is a dirt road indeed but completely passable with a sedan or compact car even during the rainy season, just go slow and stay in low gear.
