Good food is
good mood.
Get to know the best Nicaraguan recipes! Nicaraguan cuisine is a real mix of indigenous, Spanish and Creole influences. As in many other Latin American countries, corn is a staple. Many of the widely consumed dishes use this ingredient! Other staples are rice and beans.
You’ll have the chance to taste local specialities like chicharrons (crispy fried pork skin), delicious marinated meats combined with a fresh curtido salad finished with tajada chips and a refreshing fresco (juice). The vibrant local cuisine at the camp inspires us daily! When visiting the surfcamp you’ll be amazed by the mouth-watering dishes created daily.
We love food almost as much as we love surfing and we offer international recipes as well as local specialities at our camp. Daily breakfast and dinner from Sun-Thu come included in the room rate. So you don’t have to worry about going hungry on your surf trip!
For the days we don’t offer meals, there are other options! We have 3 restaurants at a 10 min walk at the beach, plus 2 on the hill above the beach about 15 mins walk – so 5 options all within 15 mins walk of our Surf Boutique Hotel.
Check out below the food recipes our kitchen maestros create daily. Swing into your kitchen and try them out yourself! Also, post your own creations on Instagram and Facebook and tag @rapturecamps for a chance to be featured on our feed.
