We are located close to Playa Maderas about 10km north of San Juan del Sur, but as we are off the beaten track, we would like to inform you about the different options to arrive at our camp.
1 – Pick up from Managua Airport
We offer a pick up from Managua Airport with our personal driver in a new and comfortable 4×4 car. This option costs $95,- for up to 4 people. If you wanna be picked up from any other location in Nicaragua feel free to contact us.
2 – Pick up from from San Juan del Sur
If you are already in San Juan del Sur or you plan on making your way there yourself, we can organise a pick up from there (either with our car or one of our experienced 4×4 taxi drivers). This option costs about $25,-/30,-. As the road to our camp is only accessible by 4×4 a normal taxi will not be able to drive you all the way up.
3 – Come by shuttle bus and we pick you up at the beach here
Another option from San Juan del Sur is to take the shuttle that runs regularly between Hostel Casa Oro and Playa Maderas (3$ one way, 5$ round trip). Just let us know which shuttle you take and we’ll pick you up at the beach!
The times for the Shuttle leaving Casa Oro are: 7:30am, 10am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm
Returning from Playa Maderas at:8:30am, 10:45am, 1:00pm, 3:30pm, 5:00pm.
