Learn how to make Pickled Red Onions! An easy, mouth-watering condiment that takes only 5 minutes to whip together! All the ingredients are easy to find and you probably have them at home. Also, it’s always handy to have a jar of Pickled Red Onions in your fridge! One of our favourite condiments that we serve with anything. Pickled Red Unions are a tasty and fun way to season your food. Try at home or visit us!

  • Instructions.
  • Ingredients.
    1. Bring all the ingredients up to a gentle simmer in a saucepan, not letting it boil, until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
    2. While the mixture heats up, cut up the onions in stripes, with or against the natural seam, whatever you prefer.
    3. As soon as the mixture is hot and dissolved pour it over the onions, placed into a Tupperware kind of container you can put in the fridge as soon as the onions cooled down to room temperature. Ready to use the next day.
    • Water 250ml
    • White Vinegar 250ml
    • Sugar 50g
    • Salt 6g
    • Pepper
    • Red Onions 3 (Medium)
